Potential “Unsung Heroes” to watch in Coos Bay
Definition of Unsung Hero- One who does great deeds but receives little or no recognition for them.
Elite 8 starts in 24 hours! Eight teams are driving down to Coos Bay to have a shot at winning a state title. At the very least, bring back some hardware to add to their school trophy case.
All eight coaches have been watching film on their opponents for a few days now. They know each other star players tendencies and offensive/defensive schemes. What teams aren’t usually ready for is the Unsung Heroes! These are the players that rise to the occasion when least expected. They might not lead their team in scoring but fill the stat sheet in other categories.
