Highlights and Summary on Week 1 - Game of the Week
All of our thoughts and prayers goes out to Ubedei McGautha. He suffered an injury during the game and was seen leaving the gym on crutches. Get well soon and can’t wait to see you back on the court.
Braeden Nowlins and Lukas Findley outscored Catlin entire team 49-45 to lead Dayton to victory.
Catlin came out red hot behind Ubedei McGautha, Jett Sheng, Sasha Agapiev and was up 16-6 at the end of the first quarter. Jonah Zeller had two nice dunks that did not make the highlights. My bad!
Early in the second quarter, Catlin continues to roll and was up as much as 23-7. That would be the last time Catlin scored in the second quarter. Dayton goes on a 21-0 run to end the half 28-23.
In the second half, Dayton turned up the defense and kept the same momentum to finish the game on a 63-22 run! The final score was 70-45.
