2020 G Micah Garrett is arguably one of the best scores in Oregon. Micah is ranked #2 in the 2020 class (OregonPrep) and is looking to lead West Linn to the Chile’s Center with the return of Head Coach Eric Viuhkola. Micah is a playmaker and really good at creating his own shot. Micah has the ability to be an immediate impact player for the right program at the next level.

1.)What team did you play for this summer? What skills did you improve on during that time?
This summer I played with Seattle Rotary. Playing with them really got me stronger mentally, physically, and playing against the best competition in the country. This summer I’ve really improved my shooting, athleticism, and ball handling . I’m improved on all aspects of my game .
2.)What goals have you set for yourself this upcoming season?
This upcoming season I am aiming towards player of the year.. I also just want to lead my team in all aspects whether it’s scoring, defense, or rebounding . I just want to lead by example and be vocal and treat every game like it’s my last .
3.)After graduating some key seniors, which teammates do you see playing a bigger role this year?
If I’m going to be honest I couldn’t say anyone in particular because all of my teammates have really improved and they are all going to play a big role on the team . All of my guys have been working hard improving everyday getting ready for a big season.
4.)What are your team goals for this season?
As a team, we are aiming for nothing less than a state championship. We’ve been working every single day and coach V is a great coach that is going to push us night in and night out . We know it isn’t going to be easy but if we keep working the way we are we don’t see anything stopping us.
5.)Do you have a pregame ritual?
Before games I usually take an hour nap , stretch and listen to music .
6.)If you didn’t play basketball, what sport would you play instead?
If I didn’t play basketball I’d definitely play football
7.)Who do you think is better, Lakers or Clippers?
Clippers all the way .
