2022-23 Oregon HS Reclassification Update

Every few years, OSAA do a complete reclassification of high school sports. This is one of those years and below are a list of some schools that moved classifications.



Boise State commit Jr.. Pearson Carmichael Summit HS looks to lead his team back to the Elite 8.


Internmountain Conference is the most intriguing one of them all. All of the 6A schools in Bend have moved to 5A and are all in the same conference. Speaking from experience (assistant coach at Westview) playing a league opponent three times has it pros and cons. Mostly cons if you ask me!


My suggestion would be to make the third round of games a conference playoff? This will keep the excitement for all teams and have something to play for the third time around.

Elmira, Sisters and Siuslaw joins Mountain Valley League


Coquille, North Valley, Rogue River, Glide, Lakeview joins

Far West League


McLoughlin joins

Eastern Oregon League
