2022-2023 OSAA All State Teams

Coos Bay is off to a RED HOT start! Majority of the 16 games was fairly competitive and this only means Final Four will be just as spicy!
Ladies First..
#1 Banks defeat #9 Lakeview in a heartbreaking buzzer beater by Madison Walker 36-34
#5 Santiam Christian defeats Amity 36-35. Like I said previously it’s hard beating a team 3 times in one season but hats off to both teams. SC advances!
#3 Corbett defeats #6 Nyssa 47-41. With Corbett win, this means their will be a new team crowned State Champs on Saturday Night.

This year Elite 8 will be an exciting finish in Coos Bay. These 8 teams are all 20+ win teams and will bring a lot of talent to the Bay! Corbett, Banks, Pleasant Hill, Sutherlin, Amity, Lakeview, Nyssa and Santiam Christian will all be fun teams to watch!
Below are a few storylines to look out for at the Elite 8:
New Kids On The Block…
Due to the OSAA realignment this season, Corbett and Banks moved from 4A to 3A. Neither team wasted no time to enforce their will on the state. Corbett 23-3 record with impressive wins over Banks, Amity and Madres. Corbett won the Costal Range League Title. Banks 25-2 record with impressive wins over Westside Christian, Santiam Christian, Amity and Corbett. Both teams are considered strong favorites to win the title and they are in separate brackets. State Title Game?
Four Times a Charm?
OES defeats Catlin Gabel 39-15 on Senior Night. Puget Sound commit Senior Cayton Smith scored 21 points to lead OES to victory. Catlin was lead by Ava Austria with 7 points.
The Ardvarks will now shift their focus to Lewis & Clark league playoffs as they travel to De La Salle in a tough 3/4 matchup.
Hats off to Head Coach Kate Williams and Catlin Gabel as their season comes to an end.
