By: Yoda Cliff Toney is looking forward to his 13th season as the Varsity Boys basketball Coach(and 18th at the school). He is very optimistic about his squad and is looking forward to playing in the new league which he says will be, "interesting". He added, "especially having to play a 3 game series with each team. I don't know much about the three northern teams, but have heard they will be competitive. I'm unsure of the order, but from what I'm hearing the league is wide open, every night will be a battle and anyone can win it." Key returning players will be Chance Kalawa, Jackson Schoenbachler, Austin Watkins, Nick Colton, Colton Doane, and Noe Lopez. Kaleb Floyd and Austin Ash will be the new players adding support. There are 3 or 4 other swing players who may play a role and may include Conrad Farmer, Matt Leno, Dominic Briant as well as a few others. Coach Toney added, "After losing a large and talented senior class we will be learning on the fly. All of the seniors I mentioned will be impact players, Chance Kalawa will get a lot of attention from other team's defenders. We must defend like they have in the past to be successful, scoring will be spread throughout the team."
