The Amity Warriors started the game leading 8-6 with 3 minutes left in the first quarter. Amity scored a few early buckets before Yamhill-Carlton responded with a deep three fro m 27 feet out and went ahead 9-8.
Amity then scored on a quick turn around jumper tieing the game 10-10, Landon Distler scooped up a loose ball and drew the contact putting Amity back up 12-10 with 2:24 left in the first quarter. This was a great back and forth game, the pace of the game was picking up and both of these teams were going at it. Moroni Roberts was the leading scorer after one with 6 points for Yamhill-Carlton. Trey Richardson hits a three putting Yamhill-Carlton up 16-14 after the First Quarter.
Amity started this second quarter in foul trouble, YC was in the Bonus with 6 minutes before halftime. Amity’s Jacob Bernards was hit with his 4th foul with 5 minutes left to go in the second quarter. Josh Wart with a and one with 4:23 left put Amity up 28-23, the next possession Isaac Watcherson hits his second three of the game pushing the warriors lead to eight forcing a Yamhill timeout.
Yamhill-Carlton responded with a 7-0 run forcing it into a close game 31-30 with 1:25 left before half. Amity with a few quick buckets push their lead to 5 at halftime.

Josh Wart exploded in the third quarter and put the Warriors up 48-39. Josh is the leading scorer with 25 points and 12 of those points in the third quarter. Amity was leading this game 55-38 3:22 left in the quarter.
Amity went up 20 with 2:10 left in the Third Quarter. Both of these teams were so close during the year but Amity was just on another level this afternoon and could not be stopped. This game was all but over with 1:10 left in the quarter Amity was up by 19 and Josh Wart would lead all scorers with 25 at the end of the Third Quarter.
Start of the Fourth Quarter
Isaac Watcherson nails a three stabilizing the lead to 63-46 with 7 minutes left. Amity kept the foot on the gas pedal and couldn’t be stopped today. However, Amity was in deep foul trouble with 4 players with 4 fouls with 6 minutes left to go in the Fourth Quarter. Yamhill-Carlton gets a few quick buckets making this a 14 point game with 4:24 left.
Amity with a few turnovers helps Yamhill-Carlton cut this lead to 9 with only 2:25 left in this game. Amity responds with back to back buckets making this a 13 point game with 1:37 left.
Amity made some mistakes late in the game to make it closer than this game really was. Amity played great for three quarters and played a little sloppy throughout the fourth quarter but they played lights out for the first three quarters to secure the third seed in the PacWest league.
